	IL CASALE Il Casale is a typical Sicilian construction dating back to the 1800 - an ancient farm house- called originally Baglio. In this type of buildings (not just inside, but even outside) took place social life of a big bunch of people - sometimes composed by more than one family. Today, Il Casale has been transformed in a refined house, but maintaining his original characters. The colors of this structure, both internal and external, are made by coccio - pesto, a particular clay coloured material derived from a complex mixture of clays. Il Casale is stuck in a very natural Mediterranean territory, with a predominant typical greenery of this area, called Macchia Mediterranea. Right outside the building, a beautiful view of both hills and verdant places casts the spectator back in the centuries, letting him taste the real beauty of nature. As guest of this magnificent Baglio, you will enjoy it and relax totally, dipped into the west Sicilian history. This structure has a ground and first floor; it is full of comforts and can host up to 10 people. You can access by the ground floor from a huge living room with kitchen and conversation area; right after you will find a very particular stone chimney that makes the ambient warm and cozy. Almost all the furniture is antique and was owned by the family, that creates a pleasant effect of contrasts with some other contemporary designed elements. The wide area of the kitchen is full of quaint Sicilian furniture and fully equipped for all kinds of foods, everything you want to prepare. Then, there are two double bedrooms, a queen bedroom (with a French bed) and two bathrooms (one with bath and the other one with shower). Naturally all these rooms are elegant, sophisticated and sober at the same time. The ancient loft conversion has been preserved and restructured, where it has been obtained a bedroom . This loft area has been enriched with a small and pretty kitchen plus a further living room. At the first floor you will meet with the master bedroom, which is very aristocratic, with bathroom and balcony, from where you will stand, charmed by the beautiful countryside and surroundings. To sum it up, the structure owns four double bedrooms, a queen bedroom and three bathrooms. The wide verandas, partly sheltered, surround Il casale and are furnished with some garden furniture that will let you enjoy your fantastic holiday time. Moreover, from the inside of the kitchen you can easily access to the barbecue area, that is fully furnished, with actually an old wood stove (the right place to organize open-space meals and ancient Sicilian recipes). Finally, the whole garden surrounds the house with his strong Mediterranean characters and his lovely and fully equipped pool.
